Setup your fingerboard

Step 1: Adding the screws

You'll see 8 pre-drilled holes on the fingerboard deck. Begin by partially inserting a screw into each of the holes on the top side of the deck.

Step 2: Attaching the trucks

Position a truck on the underside of the deck with the lock nut and kingpin facing inward. Make sure the truck's holes are aligned with the screws on the deck.

With the truck aligned and flat against the deck, gradually tighten each screw a little at a time.

After securing the first truck to the deck, repeat the process for the second truck. Be sure not to fully tighten any single screw initially, as this can cause the trucks to become misaligned and make it difficult to install the remaining screws.

Step 3: Fitting the wheels

Attach a wheel to each side of the truck and secure it by fastening the nuts onto the ends of the truck.

Note: Avoid over-tightening the nut, as it can restrict the wheel's rotation and affect performance.

Step 4: Attaching the grip tape

Carefully peel the grip tape from its backing and apply it to the deck, starting at the top and working your way down. This method helps to avoid air bubbles and ensures the tape covers the entire deck.

After applying the grip tape, trim it to match the shape of the deck. The grip tape comes uncut to accommodate any deck size. You can use either a grip tape file (recommended) or scissors to make the cuts.

Step 5: Personalising your setup

Your fingerboard is now all set up and ready to go! Personalize it however you like, start showing off your tricks, and maybe even brag to your friends. Have a blast with your new ride!
